Host plants:
The larvae feed on Juniperus.
Habitat:
Eupithecia conquesta is currently known from the dry and juniper-rich shores of two salt lakes in Cyprus.
Life cycle:
The moths occur in autumn (especially October/November). The larvae develop during winter and spring (March/April).
Remarks:
Eupithecia conquesta has been separated from the more widespread Eupithecia phoeniceata only recently. It is known only from Cyprus.
On this website the photos had been assigned to E. phoeniceata until February 2024.
