The larvae mostly feed on Salix and Populus species.

Habitat:
Epione repandaria inhabits wetlands, riparian woodland, rivers and lake shores with host plants.

Life cycle:
The egg overwinters and the moths mostly occur in two generation (June/July and September/October)

Remarks:
Epione repandaria occurs in southern and central Europe and in parts of temperate Asia.
