Host plants:
The larvae feed polyphagously on deciduous woods.
Habitat:
Apocheima hispidaria inhabits deciduous woodlands and other habitats with trees and bushes.
Life cycle:
The moths occur between February and mid-April. The larvae are found in spring between mid-April and June.
Remarks:
Apocheima hispidaria occurs in deciduous woodlands of Europe (in the South more in mountainous regions, misses there in many regions and most islands) and parts of W-Asia (Anatolia, Caucasus etc.).
