Host plants:
The larvae feed on Ericaceae, especially Erica species.
Habitat:
Agrochola haematidea inhabits dwarf shrub dominated areas, open forests and other sites with larval host plants.
Life cycle:
The moths occur in autumn (late September to November). The egg overwinters.
Remarks:
Agrochola haematidea occurs from Morocco across SW-Europe to Great Britain, France and Italy.
