Host plants:
According to rearing results larvae live polyphagously on dead leaves, wilting plant parts, flowers and also living plants.

Habitat:
Nodaria nodosalis inhabits maqis, (dry) woodlands and similar sites.

Life cycle:
The moths occur in several generations throughout the year. In southern Europe, however, a break is obvious in winter (mainly mid-December to February)

Remarks:
Nodaria nodosalis occurs in Africa, southern Europe and west Asia (e.g. Turkey, Arabia).
