Host plants:
The caterpillar lives polyphagous on various plants and dead vegetation parts.

Habitat:
Paradrina clavipalpis inhabits settlements, haystacks, slopes, grasslands, dry habitats, ruderal terrain and similar places.

Life cycle:
The caterpillar hibernates. Moths can be observed in most cases in two generations from spring to autumn, in the south year-round.

Remarks:
Paradrina clavipalpis occurs in Africa, Europe and eastward to east Asia.
