Host plants:
The larvae feed on Asparagus sp., especially Asparagus acutifolius.
Habitat:
Zebeeba falsalis inhabits especially dry and warm, open pine woodland, maquis, garigues and similar places with the host plants.
Life cycle:
Zebeeba falsalis flies in several generations from March to October, in very warm regions like Israel or Cyprus probably year-round. The larvae are easily beaten from the host plant in more shady places.
Remarks:
Zebeeba falsalis occurs around the Mediterranean bassin especially in lower altitude and is quite abundant there.
