Host plants:
The larvae are polyphagous on deciduous wood.

Habitat:
Eupsilia transversa inhabits wooded areas of all kinds and occurs also in cities.

Life cycle:
The moth flies hibernating from September to early May. The larvae can be found between late April and June.

Remarks:
Eupsilia transversa is widespread in Europe and temperate Asia and is often common.
