Host plants:
The larvae feed on Santolina chamaecyparissus (Asteraceae).
Habitat:
Alvaradoia disjecta inhabits all kinds of open, dry and warm habitats provided that the host plant occurs. Typical habitats are pastures and garigues.
Life cycle:
The moths occur in several generations between April and September or October. But the later generations are most often incomplete due to drought. I recorded the larvae mostly on small, scattered plants near the ground. The pupa hibernates.
Remarks:
Alvaradoia disjecta occurs in Spain and Southern France. The populations in Corsica and Sardinia are regarded as distinct taxon Alvaradoia numerica.
