Host plants:
The larvae feed in the first place on brooms and gorses, more rarely also other Fabaceae.
Habitat:
Trigonophora haasi inhabits sites with the larval host plants such as heaths, pastures, woodland margins and sparse forests, with peak in medium-high altitudes (400-1600m).
Life cycle:
The egg hibernates. The larvae develop between late March/April and June. The young larvae are easily beaten from broom and gorse. The moths occur in early autumn between late August and October with peak in September.
Remarks:
Trigonophora haasi occurs in the Iberian Peninsula and southern France (from the east Pyrenees across Hérault to Ardèche).
