Host plants:
The larvae are polyphagous on herbs.
Habitat:
Paradrina rebeli inhabits rocky slopes, ravines and flies as imago also in gardens. But it occurs even in cooler and shaded areas as a caterpillar observation suggests. I found a half-grown larva together with those of Noctua noacki and Leucania fortunata in a humid, north-facing grassy embankment in 900m asl in La Palma.
Life cycle:
I met adults at Christmas 2008 in La Gomera on lanterns. According to literature, the butterflies are found throughout the year.
Remarks:
Paradrina rebeli is endemic to the western Canary Islands from Gran Canaria westwards.
