Habitat:
Xylocampa mustapha inhabits bushy slopes, open woodland and maquis.

Life cycle:
The moths occur in early spring (late February to April) and larvae develop from April to May or early June.

Remarks:
Xylocampa mustapha occurs in southern Italy and then obviously from the eastern part of Egean Islands (Samos) and Asia Minor eastward.
