Habitat:
Poecilimon werneri inhabits usually dry and warm stands of thistles, other forbs and open scrub.
Life cycle:
The adults appear most often between late April or May and early July, rarely and only in more humid and less hot sites still in August. They reach quite gigh densities in suitable thistle patches.
Remarks:
Poecilimon werneri has a disjunct distribution in coast-near parts of S-Albania, the southwestern corner of Greek mainland and to the northwestern corner of the Peloponnese.
