Habitat:
Poecilimon fussii inhabits late mown or grazed grasslands, woodland margins, forb communities and open scrub up to about 1500m.
Life cycle:
The adults appear between May and July, in higher altitudes also later. They usually rest on forbs.
Endangerment factors:
Threatened by overgrowth (bush and tree encroachment after abandonment), agricultural intensification and overbuilding (e.g. urban sprawl).
Remarks:
Poecilimon fussii occurs in Hungary (very locally also in SE-Slovakia), NE-Croatia, Serbia, NW-Romania and Bulgaria (except the very south).
