Habitat:
Poecilimon ampliatus inhabits not too dry and only extensively grazed, tardily mown or fallow meadows, pastures, road side verges and similar places with higher growing herbal vegetation.
Life cycle:
Poecilimon ampliatus is most often adult from June and can be found according to summer drought up to August or September.
Remarks:
Poecilimon ampliatus occurs along the Adriatic coast from Slovenia to Montenegro and Serbia as well as in Romania.
