Habitat:
Stenobothrus apenninus inhabits Alpine meadows and pastures between 1200 and 2300 (often only from 1600m). It is especially abundant in warm, stony but nevertheless vegetation-rich spots.

Remarks:
Stenobothrus apenninus is endemic to the Apennines (Italy), where it is quite abundant especially in the Central and Northern part.
