Habitat:
Oropodisma chelmosi inhabits most often stony, nutrient-poor and sparsely vegetated places between 1500 and 2000m.
Life cycle:
The adults appear often not until mid- or late July and should be found still in early October. In early August 2019 most individuals were still in the larval stage. The individuals rest on the ground. In bad weather or at night they hide below stones.
Remarks:
Oropodisma chelmosi is endemic to the central Peloponnese where it occurs from Mount Chelmos a considerable distance southward.
