Host plants:
The larva feeds on grasses, most probably Eriophorum.
Habitat:
Erebia disa inhabits open bogs and tundra.
Life cycle:
The adults occur in late June and July. The males patrol across the bog. The larva hibernates twice.
Remarks:
Erebia disa has an Holarctic distribution. In Europe, it is locally found in N-Scandinavia and adjacent Russia.
