Habitat:
Podisma emiliae inhabits medium-high and high altitudes in the northern Apennines south of Modena (Emilia Romana and rarely in adjacent parts of Tuscany) where it is found both in rocky places and pastures.
Life cycle:
The adults appear in summer and autumn and may be abundant in their few colonies.
Remarks:
Podisma emiliae is endemic to the northern Apennines (Emilia Romana and adjacing parts of Tuscany, Italy).
