Habitat:
Miramella irena usually inhabits bushy and/or forb-rich mountain meadows or nutrient-poor grasslands with good vertical structure. Miramella irena is also found in open woodlands, e.g. in forest aisles.
Endangerment factors:
The often small habitats are often especially endangered by reforestation and must kept open by moderate tending strategies.
Remarks:
Miramella irena occurs from NE-Italy, S-Austria and Hungary to Romania, Slovenia, Croatia and Bosnia.
