Habitat:
Euchorthippus elegantulus inhabits hot habitats like coastal dunes, dry riverbeds or dry grasslands, but also more humid ones like seasonally wet Juncus grasslands.

Remarks:
Euchorthippus elegantulus occurs from Spain to southern France and just Italian Liguria. In the latter areas ssp. gallicus is found.
The taxon used to be regarded as subspecies of E. pulvinatus.
