Oropodisma macedonica is found on scree, rock and in gappy pastures rich in open soil above 1600m, up to about 2300m.
Life cycle:
The adults usually appear between July and October. They can be flushed out of scree or gappy vegetation.
Remarks:
Oropodisma macedonica occurs on the western Balkan Peninsula (Albania, Republic of northern Macedonia, S-Kosovo, N-Greece in Epirus and western Makedonia). I observed it in northern Greece near Samarina (Vasilitza) and on Mount Tymfi.
