Habitat:
Arminda canariensis inhabits rocky slopes between 400 and 1400m.
Life cycle:
The adults are often found on dwarf bushes (like Echium species or Psoralea bituminosa) where they sun-bath, but also on rocks.
Remarks:
Arminda canariensis is endemic to Gran Canaria (Spain, Canary Islands) and is found only in small patches of the western and central part of the island. Arminda canariensis is quite deviant compared to other Arminda species.
