Habitat:
Arcyptera tornosi inhabits pastures, bushy slopes, garrigues and similar grassy habitats from sea level up to more than 2000m.
Life cycle:
The adults occur in summer, in low altitudes supposedly from May. In the Spanish Sierra de Gredos I met adults up to about 1700m around the turn of June/July 2025, but still larvae especially around 2000m.
Remarks:
Arcyptera tornosi is endemic to the western part (to the east up to the region north of Madrid) of the Iberian peninsula. It is e.g. common in the Sierra de Gredos.
