Habitat:
Eupholidoptera kykladica inhabits garrigues, Rubus stands and especially a bit more humid, semi-shadowy, forb-rich embankments, scrub edges and similar places.
Life cycle:
I recorded still only half-grown larvae in Tinos island in late May 2025. Thus adults should appear mainly between mid-June and August, which is quite late for an Eupholidoptera. The larvae were found locally quite common on soft-leaved thistles and other forbs. Eupholidoptera kykladica is a quite small Eupholidoptera.
Remarks:
Eupholidoptera kykladica is endemic to the Greek Islands of Andros, Tinos and Kea.
