Habitat:
Eupholidoptera epirotica inhabits all kinds of habitats with vertical structure like open woodland, garrigue, maquis, scrub, thistle stands, pastures, fallow land and coastal swamps.
Life cycle:
The adults appear already in mid-May, in higher altitudes not prior to June. They tend to have high densities. This taxon is indistinguishable from closely related ones on macroscopic scale (but shows different genitalia etc). The distribution is unique.
Remarks:
This taxon has a very small known distribution area on the Greek west coast (Epirus) from south of Preveza, eastward to Amfilochia and to the south not as far as the gulf of Patras.
