Habitat:
Parapholidoptera castaneoviridis is especially typical for sunny open oak woodland which is interspersed with grasslands, pastures and scrub. The animals often rest on oak leaves, but also scrob, forbs an in the litter.
Life cycle:
Parapholidoptera castaneoviridis occurs as adult between June and August, perhaps also later. In late May 2019 I recorded only larvae in the Greek eastern Rhodopes.
Remarks:
Parapholidoptera castaneoviridis occurs in SE-Bulgaria, NE-Greece and W-Turkey. An isolated outpost exists in SE-Romania.
