Habitat:
Eupholidoptera garganica inhabits all kinds of habitats (most often grove-rich) with vertical structure like open woodland, Olive groves, garrigue, maquis, scrub, thistle stands or fallow land.
Life cycle:
The adults appear already in mid-May, in higher altitudes or cool years not prior to June. They tend to have high densities. This taxon is indistinguishable from closely related ones on macroscopic scale (but shows different genitalia).
Remarks:
Eupholidoptera garganica occurs in SE-Italy (south of Gargano and then along the eastern coast southwards) and in NW-Greece (Corfu, NW-mainland southward to Preveza). Supposedly also in Albania.
