Habitat:
Eupholidoptera magnifica inhabits vertically structured habitats like Rubus thickets, woodland edges, scrub or dwarf shrub heathlands.
Life cycle:
Eupholidoptera magnifica is adult between May and October (according to sea level). Inhabited thickets are easily spotted by the male singing (single, short and sharp sounds). The animals are often sunbathing on leaves (except for hot weather).
Remarks:
Eupholidoptera magnifica is endemic to Italy and known from Sardinia and the western half of mainland Italy from the Toscana to Calabria. In Corsica a related species occurs. Possibly the populations from Sardinia and mainland Italy will be separated in future.
