Habitat:
Eupholidoptera smyrnensis inhabits scrub, forest edges, herb- and shrub-rich grasslands and pastures, light Pteridium aquilinum stands and similar formations.
Life cycle:
The adults occur in summer and early autumn. They often climb in bushes up to several meters and can be observed in numbers on a stem.
Remarks:
Eupholidoptera smyrnensis occurs in Europe in the southeastern Balkan Peninsula (NE-Greece from Thessaloniki eastwards, S-Bulgaria, uropean Part of Turkey, eastern Eagean) and in Asia Minor.
