Habitat:
Rhacocleis neglecta inhabits most often areas that are at least interspersed with higher growing vegetation (shrubs, grasses, forbs). Sometimes it is also found in more open, hot and stony spots where dwarf shrubs or cushion plants like Artemisia provide some shelter.
Life cycle:
Adults occur between July and October or even November. The males often sing from higher positions in thickets, but are hardly located. Otherwise the animals are found more near the ground.
Remarks:
Rhacocleis neglecta is endemic to Italy and quite abundant in the Southern and Central part.
