Habitat:
Platycleis veyseli inhabits most often mosaics of dense and long grasses and gappy spots in dry and warm environments such as steppe, fallow land, embankments.

Life cycle:
The adults appear between July and October/early November. The animals usually keep themselves in denser vegetation, but can be flushed quite easily.

Remarks:
This steppe species occurs in SE-Europe (e.g. Hungary, Romania) and is found in the West up to E-Austria (Vienna, Lower Austria, Burgenland).
