Habitat:
Platycleis affinis inhabits dry-warm places of all kinds (e.g. dry grasslands, garigue). I observed it in vegation-rich parts of the coastal dunes in Northern Greece (Katerini).

Remarks:
Platycleis affinis is widespread in the Mediterranean (to the north app. to east Austria) and also occurs in parts of Asia.
