Habitat:
Platycleis ebneri inhabits often stony mountain pastures from about 1000 up to more than 2000m.
Life cycle:
The adults appear in summer and autumn. They are often still encountered in November. They still were common on Mbaros Pass (Epirus) on 31. October 2023.
Remarks:
Platycleis ebneri occurs in the southern Balkans from southern Bosnia Herzegovina across western Serbia, eastern Albania, North Macedonia and ther southwesternmost tip of Bulgaria to northern Greece (from northern and central Pindus to Mount Olympus in three subspecies).
