Habitat:
Eumigus rubioi colonizes rocky or stony slopes in altitudes from 1000 to more than 3000m above sea level in the Andalusian mountains.

Life cycle:
The adults occur early from June to September, maybe even later.

Endangerment factors:
In places, Eumigus rubioi is endangered in the lower levels because of the EU-funded intensive agriculture, in the high altitudes ,howeve,r usually relatively well protected.

Remarks:
The distribution is limited to a few spots in Andalusia, Southern Spain. In the Sierra Nevada, for example, it is quite common.
