Habitat:
Paranocarodes chopardi inhabits open woodland (especially oak) between 200 and 1000m that are interspersed with clearings such as grasslands, garigue, rocks and pastures.
Life cycle:
I recorded adults on the ground in the Greek eastern Rhodopes in late May 2019. Most often the records are very sporadic and random because of the cryptic animals.
Remarks:
Paranocarodes chopardi has a small range in S-Bulgaria (Rhodopes) and NE-Greece (Thrace), but is also found in small parts of adjacent European Turkey.
