Habitat:
Acinipe deceptoria inhabits dry and hot, often grazed mountain slopes whith open scrub in altitudes mostly between 400 and 1850m asl.
Life cycle:
The adults can be found in summer. I observed them in the Sierra de Albarracin in late August 2013. They rest on branches of low shrub (e.g. Berberis).
Remarks:
Acinipe deceptoria is endemic to Spain and is encountered there in very local populations especially in the central and eastern mountain ranges.
