Habitat:
Pamphagus marmoratus inhabits dry and warm grasslands and garigues from sea level up to about 1000m. Many habitats are also rocky, but that is not a requirement.
Life cycle:
The larvae hibernate and the adults appear from April. Already from May only rarely larvae are still recorded. The animals live until the summer drought and heat. They usually rest on the ground or in low-growing vegetation.
Remarks:
Pamphagus marmoratus is endemic to the western part of Sicily.
