Habitat:
Paranocaracris bulgaricus lives on dry, rocky roadsides and grassy, stony slopes with many gappy areas.

Life cycle:
I met Imagines at Mount Olympus in 2000m above sea level in late July 2009.

Remarks:
Paranocaracris bulgaricus occurs in the Balkans in Bulgaria and Northern Greece and possibly also in Macedonia and Albania.

At Olympus and Smolikas (Greece) you find the subspecies flavotibialis and in Bulgaria and adjacent eastern Greece there is the nominate subspecies.
