Habitat:
Eumigus cucullatus inhabits dry and warm, often droughty habitats like rocky slopes, stony pastures, open woodland or garigues from sea level up to 2000m.
Life cycle:
The larva hibernates. In lower altitudes adults can be found already in February or even earlier, but in higher ones not until May.
Remarks:
Eumigus cucullatus occurs in S-Spain from Malaga to Alicante and in the interior to the Sierra de Cazorla. Especially in the western part its distribution is massive underestimated. I found it also in the Malaga region.
