Habitat:
Ephippigerida diluta inhabits dry pastures, fallow land, bushy slopes, scrub and woodland margins.
Life cycle:
The adults appear between June and September/October. They rest on forbs like Eryngium or small shrubs, but also walk quite fast on the ground.
Remarks:
Ephippigerida diluta occurs from the center (Madrid) and the western part (hills NE Lisbon) of the Iberian Peninsula to the northwest.
