Host plants:
The larvae are polyphagous on small trees, bushes and herbs.
Habitat:
Lasiocampa grandis inhabits sunny, bushy sites such as open woodlands, maquis, garigues and similar places.
Life cycle:
The moths occur in autumn. Larvae develop until next May. The pupa estivates.
Remarks:
Lasiocampa grandis occurs in SE-Europe (southern part of Balkan Peninsula) and in W-Asia.
