Nutrition:
The animals usually feed on Euphorbia lamarckii, occasionally also on other plants like Retama rhodorhizoides.
Habitat:
Acrostira tenerifae inhabits dry and warm Euphorbia shrubland between 300 and 1300m.
Life cycle:
The animals are usually nestled to stems of their main host plant. Adults probably occur year-round, but with peak from winter to early summer (more humidity).
Remarks:
Acrostira tenerifae is endemic to Tenerife and is only known so far from the West (Teno Mountains).
