Habitat:
Parnassiana tymphrestos inhabits mountain grasslands with many dwarf shrubs, extensively grazed pastures, partly overgrown scree and rock and similar habitats in the upper zones.
Life cycle:
The adults appear between late June and October. They can be flushed out of the dwarf shrubs.
Remarks:
Parnassiana tymphrestos is endemic to Mount Tymphrestos and Mount Oiti in central Greece between about 1450-2300m.
