Habitat:
Parnassiana tenuis inhabits stony or rocky mountain pastures with dwarf shrubs between 1500 and more than 2200m.
Life cycle:
The adults appear between July and October. I met a single female near Mbaros Pass on 30. October 2023 which should have lived well into November.
Remarks:
Parnassiana tenuis is endemic to a small area in the Pindus Mountains southeast of Ioannina town (e.g. Mount Tsoumerka, Mbaros Pass).
