Habitat:
Drymadusa dorsalis inhabits dry and hot, bushy and stony places.

Life cycle:
I observed a female larva near the ground in Samos Island in late April 2015. Adults appear from mid or late May.

Remarks:
In Europe Drymadusa dorsalis only occurs in Greece (ssp. dorsalis: Peloponnisos and northerly adjacent regions like Attica, ssp. limbata: Samos Island, perhaps also other east Egean islands). The latter subspecies also occurs in W-Anatolia. In S-Anatolia a third subspecies is found (ssp. grandis).
