Ameles assoi (Bolivar, 1873)

Habitat:
Ameles assoi inhabits dry and warm areas like steppes or open scrup and bushy pastures.

Remarks:
Ameles assoi occurs in N-Africa and Spain. In Spain, according to my record, it is found up to Zaragoza (Los Monegros). It has reputedly found in Sicily and Lampedusa, but this is said to be a result of misidentification.
