Host plants:
The larvae feed on Anthyllis species.
Habitat:
Cupido lorquinii inhabits especially dry, bushy and often rocky slopes, pastures and dry grasslands.
Life cycle:
Adults occur in spring (late March to June, according to elevation). The prepupa should overwinter as it is the case in C. minimus.
Remarks:
Cupido lorquinii occurs in southern Iberian Peninsula where it replaces the closely related Cupido minimus.
