Habitat:
Paratettix meridionalis inhabits humid, sandy, stony or muddy places, most often near the coast.

The adults overwinter regularly and are thus recorded most often in spring and autumn. The small animals occur quite abundant at appropriate places (wet spots with medium-dense vegetation in larger areas), but often go undetected when not concentrating on them.

Remarks:
Paratettix meridionalis is quite widespread in the Mediterranena, but rarely far away from the coast.
