Host plants:
The larvae feed on Thymus.
Habitat:
Nola thymula inhabits pastures, steppe slopes, garigues and other, nutrient-poor and warm-dry sites with thyme.
Life cycle:
The moths occur in April and May. The larvae develop between May and June. They can be beaten from the host plants. The pupa hibernates.
Remarks:
Nola thymula has an Atlanto-Mediterranean distribution pattern and is found in NW-Africa, the Iberian Peninsula, in southern France and northwestern Italy.
